The 2026 Carolina Dance Fusion brought another incredible weekend of country/western dance competition to Raleigh, North Carolina, and The Average Nomad was there to capture it. A total of 26 hours and 6 minutes of dance video from the event is available on YouTube (links below).
Now a fully sanctioned UCWDC event and Country Dance World Championships qualifier, Carolina Dance Fusion filled the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills with heats, socials, and showcases from Friday through Sunday. Dancers and their families made good use of the hotel’s indoor pool and fitness center between sessions, and plenty took the short trip into nearby North Hills for dinner and shopping whenever they weren’t out on the competition floor.
